We are looking for a Senior Functional Business Analyst who will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, with a strong focus on integration projects and MuleSoft-based solutions. The role involves leading requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder communication, and coordination across business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate detailed business and functional requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Analyze and document business processes, system interactions, workflows, and integration requirements.
- Work closely with integration and development teams to define functional requirements for MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, MuleSoft developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Support API-led connectivity initiatives and integration mapping between enterprise systems.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in UAT planning, business validation, and solution sign-off activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements management, system integration concepts, and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience working on enterprise integration projects and coordinating with MuleSoft or middleware teams.
- Experience with ERPs, APIs, and government sector projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with API concepts such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and system integration workflows.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with analysis and project tools such as Azure DevOps and MS Visio.
- Ability to analyze complex business and integration problems and deliver practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be willing to work onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
