Hiring: Functional Consultant Odoo | Remote | Immediate Joiner (Egypt)
We are currently seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Odoo for a remote role. This position is open to candidates based in Egypt who are available for immediate joining and have hands-on experience delivering functional ERP solutions.
This role involves close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and support of Odoo ERP solutions across various business domains.
Role Overview
The Functional Consultant will be responsible for understanding client business processes, translating requirements into functional solutions, and ensuring smooth ERP implementation. The role requires strong analytical skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Arabic-speaking clients and stakeholders
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and functional workshops
- Map business processes to Odoo standard modules and recommend best-fit solutions
- Configure Odoo modules from a functional perspective
- Prepare functional documents including BRDs, FSDs, workflows, and process documentation
- Coordinate closely with technical and development teams for customization and integrations
- Conduct system demonstrations, user training, and UAT support
- Assist with data migration, go-live activities, and post-implementation support
- Identify functional gaps and propose process improvements
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining client satisfaction
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant (Odoo preferred)
- Strong functional knowledge of Odoo modules such as:
- Sales
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Accounting / Finance
- CRM
- HR / Payroll
- Manufacturing (preferred)
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Working proficiency in English for documentation and internal communication
- Strong business analysis and requirement-gathering skills
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international or cross-border clients
- Prior experience in remote or distributed teams
- Industry exposure to Retail, Manufacturing, Trading, or Service-based businesses
- Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycle from requirement gathering to go-live
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams
