About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Finance Manager to join a dynamic investment environment, supporting the finance function across investment funds and related corporate entities.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong Big 4 audit background, combined with hands-on experience in fund accounting, statutory reporting and investment finance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, supporting fund operations, external service providers and key financial reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fund accounting activities across investment structures
- Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Review and monitor fund payment flows and cash movements
- Support statutory reporting, financial statements and audit processes
- Coordinate tax-related matters and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review investor and Limited Partner (LP) reporting
- Support investment finance activities and operational finance matters across the portfolio
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives for the CFO
- Drive continuous improvements across finance processes and controls
Required Experience
- 7–10 years of relevant finance experience
- Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is essential
- Strong background in fund accounting within an investment manager, private equity, asset management or similar environment
- Experience managing external fund administrators
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory reporting and audit requirements
- Experience preparing or reviewing LP/investor reporting
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to tax structuring or investment tax matters would be advantageous
- Experience supporting investment operations and finance activities
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA is preferred
