Job Summary:

The Funding & Debt Finance Management Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's financial resilience and strategic growth. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive funding strategies, managing debt portfolios, and optimizing capital structure to support long-term business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external financial institutions to secure cost-effective financing, ensure covenant compliance, and maintain liquidity across all operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial markets, debt instruments, and treasury integration, with a strong ability to translate macroeconomic insights into actionable funding decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Capital Structure Strategy: Designs and maintains an optimal capital structure that balances cost of capital, financial flexibility, and risk. Evaluates equity vs. debt financing options and aligns funding decisions with long-term corporate strategy and shareholder value creation.

Debt Financing & Instruments: Leads the sourcing, negotiation, and execution of debt instruments including term loans, revolving credit facilities, bonds, and Islamic finance products. Manages relationships with lenders, underwriters, and rating agencies to secure favorable terms and maintain creditworthiness.

Funding Planning & Forecasting: Develops multi-year funding plans based on business growth, investment needs, and market conditions. Integrates funding forecasts into corporate financial models and ensures alignment with liquidity, capex, and strategic initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Scanning: Monitors financial markets, interest rate trends, and macroeconomic indicators to identify funding opportunities and risks. Advises senior leadership on timing, structure, and pricing of debt issuances and refinancing strategies.

Treasury & Cash Integration: Collaborates with Treasury and Cash Management teams to ensure funding strategies support liquidity needs and working capital optimization. Aligns debt servicing schedules with cash flow forecasts and operational cycles.

Covenant & Compliance Management: Ensures full compliance with debt covenants, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Tracks covenant thresholds, prepares lender reports, and proactively manages risks of breach or default.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serves as the primary liaison with banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies. Prepares and presents funding strategies, debt profiles, and market updates to executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders.

Strategic Collaboration: Partners with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Investment teams to align funding decisions with corporate transactions, M&A, and capital projects. Supports strategic initiatives with tailored financing solutions and scenario modeling.

Documentation & Audit Readiness: Maintains comprehensive documentation for all funding activities, including loan agreements, board approvals, and compliance reports. Ensures audit readiness and transparency in all financing transactions.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's in accounting or related field + SOCOPA, CPA and any other financial certificate is preferred.

Experience: 6 years of experience in related field, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
