We are seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our team in Gulf. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring furnace equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety in metal processing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor furnace equipment for metal processing.
- Ensure proper temperature control and maintenance of furnace settings.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on furnace equipment.
- Record and document production data and furnace performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in furnace operation or related field.
- Knowledge of metallurgy and materials processing.
- Familiarity with furnace safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
