We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our production operations. This role is critical to ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, high-quality output, workplace safety, and continuous improvement across the factory. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven background in furniture manufacturing and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and oversee daily factory operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and workforce management.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality furniture products that meet client specifications and standards.
- Monitor and manage production output, quality control, and on-time shipment performance.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production capacity.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures to achieve financial objectives.
- Build a positive work culture by maintaining strong relationships with employees, setting clear performance expectations, and providing regular feedback.
- Recruit, train, and develop factory staff to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in furniture manufacturing to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience (minimum 7 years) as a Factory Manager or in a senior production management role, preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, including production planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and workforce management.
- Demonstrated experience in process optimization, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
