Gas System Inspection Engineer

Job Description:

Conduct routine and scheduled inspections of gas pipelines, storage systems, distribution networks, and associated equipment.

Ensure all systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational guidelines.

Identify defects, leaks, corrosion, or abnormalities using inspection tools and testing methods.

Prepare inspection reports, document findings, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

Coordinate with maintenance, safety, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.

Monitor system performance, support root-cause analysis, and uphold safety protocols during field operations.

Qualification:

BE / B.Tech. (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related Engineering Field).

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in inspecting gas systems, including:

Having worked in the Domestic (Residential), Commercial, and Industrial gas installations.

Aboveground and underground gas piping, pressure regulating skids, metering systems, valves & safety equipment.

Inspection of installation, pre-commissioning testing, and operational readiness reviews
