We have an exciting opportunity for a GC/MS Analyst to join MANE's Center of Analytical Expertise (CEA) in Dubai. In this role, you will contribute to analytical projects within the fragrance domain, applying your strong expertise in volatile compound analysis to deliver precise and impactful results.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you'll act as a scientific partner to Creation, Evaluation, and crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytical projects in the fragrance field, with a strong focus on the isolation, quantification, and identification of volatile compounds of interest.
  • Work in close collaboration with perfumers, evaluators, compounding & application laboratories.
  • Contribute to fragrance formulation development based on analytical results and olfactive comparisons.
  • Provide R&D support to add value to customer offerings.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of analytical equipment and perform metrology activities to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of results.
  • Develop and strengthen expertise in analytical techniques such as GC-MS, and extraction methods.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of assigned projects.
  • Actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Work within an international team on various projects aimed at developing knowledge of ingredients available on the market.
  • Develop and continuously enhance olfactive skills related to fragrance ingredients.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in perfumery and/or natural products, with solid expertise in volatile substances.
  • Demonstrated track record in GC/MS analysis within fragrance or related industries
  • Dynamic, organized, and creative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong motivation for solving scientific and technical challenges.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
