Job Description
- Role Summary:
- Provides expert-level support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure within a client's environment
- Troubleshoots complex infrastructure issues, optimizes performance, and provides guidance on best practices
- Acts as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with client stakeholders
- Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve complex GCP infrastructure incidents
- Monitor and maintain the client's GCP environment, ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement and manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and networking components
- Provide proactive guidance on GCP architecture, security, and cost optimization
- Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with Google Cloud support and engineering teams
- Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP infrastructure services
- Expertise in Linux/Windows server administration
- Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- GCP certifications are highly desired
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with automation and scripting
