GCP SQL Administrator

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

For an Engineer level position, a minimum of 7+ years of IT experience in software development is essential.

Basic Skills:

2-3 years of experience with building modern applications utilizing services like Cloud Build, Cloud Functions/ Cloud Run, GKE, Logging, GCS, & IAM.

Owns GCP VPC design, CloudSQL, peering, VPNs, NATs, NTP, GCS storage classes, backup strategy, cost optimization, and network hardening

Key Skills for the role:

Knowledge of Patching, Replication and backups in cloud.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP services.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with GKE/K8s.

Experience in implementing and maintaining CICD pipelines.

Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.

Proficiency in designing and implementing automated testing.

Familiarity with creating basic microservices and a foundational understanding of event-driven design principles for efficient service interactions.
