Job Summary
Al Marwan Group is seeking a General Accountant with
4-6 years of accounting experience in the
UAE construction /heavy machinery or real estate industry. The ideal candidate must be with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations. This role requires expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
- Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Experience: Min 4 years of accounting experience in a UAE-based in construction , heavy machinery or real estate.
- Language: Must be a fluent in English and Arabic.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial compliance.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
