General Accountant

Role Objectives:

The General Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role supports financial operations through handling journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and required regulatory filings, contributing to reliable financial reporting and efficient business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review all accounting transactions and ensure all entries are recorded correctly based on the requirements
• Prepare, review, and submit required filings through the ETA portal
• Prepare weekly detailed revenue orders reports using raw data
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved
• Review accounts receivable & accounts payable and finalize pending issues
• Prepare, review and post journal entries
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Required Education, Knowledge, And Skill

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fields
• 2–3 years of experience in related field
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excels)
• Experience with accounting software / ERP system
• Very good communication skills
• Good in English
