General Accountant Furniture Factory

Gallad CORP is looking for a General Accountant to join our Finance team at our Furniture Factory in Damietta.

We are looking for an accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and a good understanding of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and the full accounting cycle.

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Understand and follow the complete manufacturing accounting cycle from materials consumption through production and finished goods.
• Prepare and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Ensure proper linkage between cost accounting, inventory, production, and cash flow.
• Prepare and understand Income Statement and its main components.
• Understand Balance Sheet accounts and ensure proper classification and reconciliation.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or furniture factory environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.
• Good knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing accounting.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
• Damietta residents or candidates who can commute/relocate to Damietta are preferred.
