General Accountant

Gebtron is looking for a General Accountant to manage day to day financial transactions and support accurate, timely financial reporting across the company.

Responsibilities

Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.

Assist in month end and year end closing procedures.

Prepare financial reports, statements, and schedules for management review.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and collections.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and withholding tax filings.

Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

Maintain organized and accurate financial records in line with company policy and applicable accounting standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an industrial, engineering, or EPC environment.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Egyptian tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Good command of English.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
