General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Conduct petty cash, bank, inventory, supplier, and customer reconciliations with accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in Tally ERP and assist in financial reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation of import purchases, supplier invoices, and payment schedules.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Support audits and tax filings as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• MUST have Tally ERP expertise.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in most recent experience is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions, process cycles, and financial controls.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying financial risk areas and proposing improvements.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Tax regulations is a plus.
• Must be willing to relocate close to the office.
• Should be available to join immediately.
