About the Role

The candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare daily journal entries.
• Monitor production costs, raw materials consumption, and finished goods inventory.
• Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt documents.
• Reconcile inventory balances and support periodic physical stock counts.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Support cost analysis and variance reporting for cheese manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable VAT requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
