Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant, located in New Cairo. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial tasks such as preparing financial statements, maintaining records of accounts, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in audits. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, processing invoices, managing expense reports, and participating in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, and general ledger management
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting, and tax compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Prior experience 3:5 years in a similar accounting role is a must.
- Experience in construction companies is a must.
