Job Description

AGS Hiring a General Accountant.

Location: Abu Rawash – Industrial Zone

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday to Thursday)

Experience Required: 2–3 Years

Education: Bachelor's Degree Accounting.

About the Role:

AGS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience in financial reporting, and the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 2–3 years of proven experience as an Accountant
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems).
  • Good understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
