GENERAL COUNSEL Compliance Officer: Single Family Office

We are seeking an experienced General Counsel Compliance Officer to act as the internal legal adviser and lead DFSA/DIFC compliance for a DIFC-based organisation operating across real estate and private-equity investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management and project teams
- Oversee real estate and private-equity transactions, contracts, and documentation
- Act as Compliance Officer under DFSA rules
- Manage regulatory filings, governance, and regulator engagement
- Lead AML, KYC, and financial crime compliance
- Oversee legal and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (common law preferred)
- 5+ years PQE in corporate, family office, real estate or private equity
- Strong knowledge of DFSA/DIFC regulations
- Experience in real estate and/or private equity
- Proven AML/KYC and regulatory compliance, processes expertise
- European languages such as French or German high advantageous due to nature of work
