General Dentist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Dentist located in Burjuman, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Dentist will provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing dental conditions, performing treatment procedures, and educating patients about oral hygiene and lifestyle habits that promote healthy teeth and gums. Additional responsibilities include developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- Clinical Procedures: Diagnosing oral diseases, removing decay, filling cavities, and performing prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing.

- Treatment Planning: Utilizing digital X-rays and imaging to develop and execute personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.

- Restorative & Cosmetic Work: Creating and fitting crowns, bridges, and dentures; performing teeth whitening and applying sealants.

- Patient Education: Advising patients on proper oral hygiene, diet, and preventive measures.

- Documentation & Safety: Maintaining accurate electronic health records and adhering strictly to DHA sterilization and safety standards.

- Referrals: Referring complex cases, such as advanced orthodontics or oral surgery, to specialists when necessary.

Requirements:

- Licensing: A valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license is mandatory.

- Experience: A minimum of 25 years of post-internship clinical experience.

- Qualifications: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent; specialty certifications or advanced training are preferred.

- Skills: Strong communication skills in English are required (Arabic is a plus) to effectively serve our multicultural patient base. Candidates must strictly adhere to infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
