Role Purpose

The GL Reporting Specialist is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial reports and statements in line with Saudi GAAP and IFRS standards. This role supports month-end and year-end closing activities, external audits, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data to aid effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily general ledger activities and supervise ledger postings
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Contribute to process improvements and adherence to accounting policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in general ledger or financial accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous
