Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a General Ledger Accountant at Max Group. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and preparing financial statements. Additional responsibilities include overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, managing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational budgets and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and managing journal entries
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in the fitness or wellness industry is an added advantage
