General Ledger Accounting Supervisor | Retail | Jordan Head Office

ROLE SUMMARY
The GL Accounting Supervisor is responsible for financial postings covering the areas, but not limited to, payables, payroll, asset and general ledgers to ensure that precise data are updated to the system and are properly executed in line with MAF Retail's established financial accounting principles and procedures. The role holder is also responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting.

ROLE PROFILE

• Maintain And Review Purchase Ledgers To Ensure That All Expenses Are Accurately Posted And Monitored Against The Set Budget
• Review Invoices To Be Paid In Order To Ensure Accuracy And Veracity Of Invoices
• Process Payments To Vendors And Contractors As Per The Contract'S Terms, Including Advance Payment And Penalties
• Maintain And Review Sales Ledger To Ensure That Actual Sales Reports Are Generated
• Prepare And Review Monthly, Quarterly And Annual Accounting Statements And Managerial Reports In A Timely And Accurate Manner
• Handle Monthly/Quarterly/Period End Reconciliation For All Key Balance Sheet Items

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor'S Degree In Accounting, Finance Or Commerce
• 2-3 Years Experience In A Relevant Role
• 1+ Years In The Retail Business
• Excellent Analytical Skills
