Role Description
The General Ledger Section Head will oversee and manage all aspects of general ledger accounting for Alsharq KaanTextile. Responsibilities include managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and leading financial audits. The role also involves team management, process improvement, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Desert of 10th of Ramadan.
Qualifications
- Expertise in General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Accounts Reconciliation
- Proficiency in Financial Auditing, Compliance, and Taxation
- Strong Leadership, Team Management, and Process Improvement skills
- Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making abilities
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (additional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Arabic
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and familiarity with local accounting regulations is highly desirable
