Job Overview

Our client, a prestigious and dynamic cafe concept, is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a Full-Time position for a motivated hospitality professional who can drive operational excellence, foster a positive team culture, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for all aspects of the cafe's performance, from financial management to day-to-day service, ensuring the establishment thrives as a premier destination.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily cafe operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and high performance.
  • Manage the cafe's financial performance, including budget setting, P&L analysis, cost control, and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Champion an exceptional level of customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience and addressing any feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships to maintain optimal levels of high-quality products.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to attract new customers and build community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior management role, such as a General Manager or Cafe Manager, within the premium food and beverage sector.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrable experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A genuine passion for coffee, food, and creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
