We are seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead a prominent technology education and training institute in Riyadh. This executive role requires a dynamic leader with strong expertise in education management, business development, and a solid understanding of the Information Technology landscape.
The successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of strategic and operational activities, ensuring excellence in training delivery, academic quality, student experience, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of the company's overall business strategy.
- Oversee training center operations and ensure operational efficiency aligned with strategic goals.
- Drive business planning, budgeting, and performance management to achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT, telecommunications, and strategic corporate partners across KSA.
- Engage with regulatory and governmental bodies to ensure full compliance.
- Supervise academic planning, scheduling, faculty recruitment, and institutional evaluation.
- Enhance the student journey from admissions to alumni engagement.
- Develop cross-departmental initiatives including internships, job placement programs, and alumni networks.
- Drive student recruitment strategies, marketing effectiveness, and admissions performance.
- Represent the institute at conferences, corporate events, and public forums nationwide.
- Lead change management initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT and/or education sectors, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project director role.
Experience & Skills
- Strong background in academia, consultancy, or multinational environments.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi educational ecosystem and business culture.
- Native Arabic speaker with fluent English (Spanish is a plus).
- Proven ability to lead strategic growth, operational excellence, and product development initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization.
Technical Knowledge
- Solid understanding of computing fundamentals and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with areas such as Cybersecurity, Big Data, Machine Learning, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud Platforms, NLP, Agile methodologies, and open-source ecosystems (Apache, Linux, MySQL, etc.).
