Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Accountant, located on-site in Dubai. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting. Other tasks include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 812 years of progressive management experience, with at least 35 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in operations management, budgeting, and financial control
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, business development, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage large teams across multiple departments
  • Excellent understanding of customer service standards, quality control, and brand management
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple locations, projects, or business units (if applicable)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, reporting systems, and management software
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and labor regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
