Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong veterinary background to oversee the operational setup and management of an Equine or Large Animal Hospital. This role is primarily operational and requires hands-on experience in establishing hospital infrastructure, workflows, and emergency readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and operational planning of an Equine / Large Animal Hospital.
- Ensure hospital departments (including Operation Theater, emergency units, diagnostic areas, etc.) are properly designed, equipped, and functional.
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring smooth coordination between medical and support teams.
- Establish SOPs, infection control standards, and emergency protocols.
- Coordinate procurement of medical equipment and ensure compliance with veterinary healthcare standards.
- Support clinical teams by ensuring operational readiness at all times.
Requirements:
- Veterinary background is mandatory (academic or professional exposure to veterinary hospital operations).
- Proven experience in setting up or managing an Equine or Large Animal Hospital.
- Strong understanding of hospital workflow, OT preparation, emergency response, and facility management.
- Operational leadership experience within veterinary or animal healthcare environments.
