Role Overview
The General Manager Sales & Operations is responsible for leading the commercial growth, operational excellence, and overall business performance of the manpower division. This role drives strategic sales initiatives, oversees large-scale workforce operations, and ensures high service delivery standards to achieve revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction targets. The GM will manage cross-functional teams, build long-term client relationships, and ensure seamless execution of outsourced staffing solutions across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in outsourcing, contract staffing and project-based manpower solutions.
- Lead high-level client pitches, contract negotiations, and commercial proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to support strategic decision-making.
2. Operational Management
- Oversee end-to-end manpower operations including sourcing, mobilization, onboarding, deployment, and workforce management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, company policies, and contractual SLAs.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service delivery.
- Ensure adequate workforce planning and resource allocation to meet client requirements.
3. P&L & Financial Oversight
- Own the full P&L for the manpower division.
- Prepare yearly business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, margins, and cost structures.
- Drive operational and commercial decisions to maximize profitability.
4. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor the sales, recruitment, and operations teams to deliver high performance.
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and collaboration.
5. Client Relationship Management
- Act as the senior escalation point for key accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure high SLA compliance and proactive issue resolution.
6. Strategic Planning
- Contribute to organizational strategy related to new verticals, service lines, and expansion opportunities.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and technology-driven workforce management solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, HR, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 1015 years of experience in manpower services, outsourcing, or workforce solutions.
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations and leading sales functions.
- Strong understanding of UAE labour laws and manpower market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in P&L ownership and business growth.
