Job Responsibilities
1. Implement national and governmental laws and regulations on work safety, and be fully responsible for the company's operational and work safety management.
2. Organize the formulation of the group's work safety rules and regulations, system documents, operating procedures, and assessment methods; supervise the implementation of annual work safety goals and plans; and implement safety performance assessments.
3. Be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the company's safety education and training plan; conduct operational and QHSE risk identification and hazard source assessment; and supervise the implementation of safety management measures.
4. Coordinate the company's emergency management; organize the preparation of various emergency plans and conduct regular drills; establish a safety risk classification and control mechanism and a hidden danger investigation and management mechanism; conduct daily safety inspections and supervise rectification; organize the investigation and handling of major accidents and the statistical analysis and reporting of accidents (incidents).
5. Improve the company's production operation and safety management organization; cultivate professional technical management personnel; support the work of QHSE and system control personnel at all levels; and build a professional team; systematically plan and continuously improve the group's operational and QHSE information management platform and knowledge management system.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Petroleum Engineering or related fields, with preference given to candidates from domestic or international petroleum universities (e.g., China University of Petroleum, Southwest Petroleum University, University of Texas, University of Alberta, etc.).
2. Over 8 years of experience in safety management within the oil and gas industry, with QHSE management training and a valid safety management qualification certificate; familiar with national laws and regulations on work safety; and possessing practical experience in establishing and implementing a QHSE system.
3. Ability to formulate and promote the group's annual work safety goals and plans, and to coordinate risk identification, hazard investigation, emergency management, and accident investigation and handling.
4. Strong risk management, decision-making, communication, and team leadership skills; able to effectively drive organizational change and management improvement; strong English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills; overseas work experience preferred.
5. Experience in building QHSE information platforms and planning knowledge management systems, or experience working for international oilfield service companies such as SLB, Halliburton, or Shell, is preferred.
