Are you the kind of executive who can take a concept, build it into a profitable, scalable business, and own every outcome We are recruiting a General Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new storage and flexible asset platform for our client based in Dubai.
This position is a permanent role.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and scaling of a high-growth storage and asset platform from concept to execution.
- Develop the operating model, organizational structure, and governance framework for long-term scalability.
- Own full P&L responsibility, managing revenue growth, EBITDA, costs, and capital efficiency.
- Build robust financial forecasts, dashboards, and unit-level economics to guide strategic decisions.
- Design dynamic pricing, yield management, and occupancy strategies to maximize revenue and customer value.
- Implement risk, insurance, and customer protection frameworks integrated into operations and contracts.
- Establish end-to-end operational SOPs, compliance standards, and controls for a secure, auditable environment.
- Optimize space, unit mix, and asset productivity while evaluating expansion and partnership opportunities.
- Forge strategic alliances with SMEs, e-commerce, logistics, and related business units to diversify revenue streams.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing leadership team while championing business vision and performance.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- 1218+ years of experience in asset-heavy, storage, logistics, or flexible infrastructure businesses.
- Proven ability to build, launch, or scale a business unit from inception to sustained growth.
- Demonstrated full P&L ownership with strong commercial, financial, and operational performance.
- Hands-on expertise in pricing strategy, yield management, and unit-level economics.
- Solid understanding of insurance structures, risk management, and customer liability frameworks.
- Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven, performance-focused mindset.
- Deep knowledge of asset monetization and space optimization strategies.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create structure, governance, and scalable processes.
- Experienced leader with strong stakeholder management and execution discipline.
- Exposure to high-growth, PE-backed, multi-site, or regional expansion environments is advantageous.
