General Manager - Store Management

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading Tier-1 contracting company in the UAE to recruit an experienced General Manager - Store Management to lead and oversee all warehouse and store operations for a premier construction organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of expertise in construction materials inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, supported by a proven track record of leading large, multi-location teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end store and warehouse operations across project sites and central warehouses.
• Design and implement robust inventory control strategies to ensure optimal stock availability and accuracy.
• Oversee the full cycle of receiving, storage, issuance, and distribution of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and Logistics teams to facilitate efficient material flow.
• Champion process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and industry best practices in store management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store management personnel to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive management reports for senior leadership review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in store management, warehousing, or supply chain operations within the construction sector.
• At least 8–10 years in a senior leadership capacity, with demonstrated responsibility for managing large teams and multiple geographically dispersed locations.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
