Job Purpose:
To manage all aspects of the business and increase our market share in the country. The candidate will be responsible for achieving budgeted profitability targets, focus on new business opportunity and expand Cozmo's line of business verticals within the market.
Key Tasks:
Business Development & Strategy:
- To study the market and design short- and long-term strategy focused on profitable market growth.
- To identify, optimize and expand current and new business to maximize market opportunities and returns.
- Establish and maintain an effective local marketing and sales strategy (Direct sales, B2B & B2C contracts etc.).
- Ensure competitiveness of Travel products consistency and ensure sustainable growth of the company.
- Build and develop travel partnerships (hotel & transfers) to meet the business objectives.
- Develop global distribution agreements and initiate roll out operations.
- Develop and grow DMC business in the market and other destinations in the network.
- Participate and represent Cozmo in all relevant tradeshows, workshops and events.
- To achieve business profitability (Operating expenses per month within budget, supplier costs within budget and achieve revenue targets set by the Board).
Customer Experience:
- To professionally manage all customer relationships and ensure they receive the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
- To build and manage a strong and capable operations teams ensuring the highest levels of customer service and professionalism.
Operational excellence:
- To oversee day-to-day activities.
- Establish a highly motivated and efficient team.
- To coordinate with support function in current area as well as head office to ensure all departments and staff are given the tools required to succeed.
- To develop targets and other KPIs for each subordinate team manager and team member, to help increase productivity for the company.
Management Reporting:
- To provide reports on periodic basis to management as agreed.
- To communicate country specific challenges to management regularly.
