Over the next five years, our vision is to grow to a renown brand that will be recommended through generations in South East Asia.

To achieve this, we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to become the Founder & CEO's second-in-command and help build the next chapter of TRULY ENAMOURED.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional General Manager role.

We are looking for a commercially minded leader who enjoys building businesses, developing people and creating scalable systems.

You will lead the day-to-day business, drive commercial performance, build a high-performing leadership team and create the structure, discipline and accountability required for sustainable growth.

Your ultimate mission is to build an organisation that consistently delivers exceptional financial results and luxury client experiences while reducing founder dependency.

Your Mission

Build a world-class luxury retail business by:

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Leadership

Lead the day-to-day management of the business and ensure every department is aligned with the company's vision and objectives.

You will:

• Own the company's annual operating plan
• Lead execution of quarterly priorities
• Drive company-wide accountability
• Monitor business performance across all departments
• Chair weekly leadership meetings
• Make timely operational and commercial decisions
• Ensure alignment between Sales, Boutique, Operations, Client Success, Marketing and Finance
• Build an organisation capable of operating independently of the Founder

2. Commercial Growth

Take ownership of the commercial success of the business.

You will:

• Deliver annual revenue and profitability targets
• Improve sales conversion and average transaction value
• Optimise pricing and product mix
• Improve customer lifetime value
• Increase referral business
• Evaluate new revenue opportunities
• Support regional expansion initiatives
• Review commercial performance weekly and identify opportunities for growth

3. Leadership & People Development

Develop exceptional managers who build exceptional teams.

You will directly lead:

• Boutique Manager
• Operations Manager
• Marketing & Brand Team
• Client Success Team
• Finance & Administration

Responsibilities include:

• Leadership coaching
• Performance management
• Organisational planning
• Succession planning
• Recruitment of key leadership positions
• Career development
• Building a high-performance culture

4. Business Systems & Operational Excellence

Build systems that enable the business to scale efficiently.

You will:

• Improve cross-functional workflows
• Standardise and enforce SOPs
• Improve reporting and dashboards
• Increase automation where appropriate
• Improve organisational efficiency
• Remove operational bottlenecks
• Ensure departments work seamlessly together

5. Financial Leadership

Partner closely with Finance to ensure disciplined financial management.

You will:

• Own the annual budget
• Review monthly financial performance
• Improve gross margins
• Monitor cash flow
• Evaluate departmental spending
• Assess return on investment for key initiatives
• Support long-term financial planning

6. Customer Experience & Brand Excellence

Protect and elevate the TRULY ENAMOURED luxury experience.

You will:

• Ensure every department delivers exceptional client experiences
• Monitor client satisfaction and online reputation
• Reduce escalations and refunds
• Drive continuous improvements across the client journey
• Maintain consistency in service standards across the business

7. Strategic Projects & Business Growth

Support the Founder in building the next phase of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Regional expansion projects
• Strategic partnerships
• Business development initiatives
• Technology implementation
• Organisational transformation projects

8. Founder Partnership

Work closely with the Founder to translate vision into execution.

Your long-term objective is to gradually assume responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the business, allowing the Founder to focus on:

• Brand building
• Designer relationships
• Strategic partnerships
• Regional expansion
• Innovation
• Long-term growth

Within your first 24 months, you will have:

• Built a leadership team capable of operating independently.
• Improved revenue and profitability while maintaining our luxury positioning.
• Established scalable systems and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
• Reduced founder involvement in daily operations.
• Developed future leaders across every department.
• Improved operational efficiency and accountability.
• Positioned the business for regional expansion.

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial business leader who enjoys building organisations, not simply managing them.

You combine commercial acumen with operational discipline and believe that sustainable growth comes from developing great people, creating strong systems and maintaining relentless execution.

You are equally comfortable discussing financial performance, coaching managers, improving customer experience and solving complex business challenges.

Most importantly, you take ownership as though the business were your own.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in luxury retail, premium consumer brands, hospitality, lifestyle or other high-touch service industries.
• At least 5 years managing multi-functional teams with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated success growing a business or business unit through significant revenue growth.
• Strong commercial background with proven experience leading sales performance and profitability.
• Experience building and leading high-performing management teams.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting and business planning.
• Experience implementing KPIs, dashboards, SOPs and scalable operating systems.
• Experience recruiting, coaching and developing senior leaders.
• Multi-store, regional or international experience is highly advantageous.

Experience in bridal is not essential. Experience building premium customer-centric businesses is.
