One of our clients in Riyadh is looking for General Manager or Head of Sales (Calibration & repair) particularly in telecom, energy, manufacturing, and defense.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations of the calibration, repair, and trading business.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of repair and calibration services.
- Maintain operational standards for equipment handling, calibration accuracy, and technical safety.
2. Team Management & Growth
- Lead current team of 3 (1 technical senior + 2 junior staff).
- Recruit, train, and mentor additional staff based on workload and business growth.
- Build a high-performing technical and trading team capable of scaling operations.
3. Business Development & Service Expansion
- Identify opportunities to expand repair, calibration, and trading services.
- Explore new industrial products/equipment for trading aligned with current technical expertise.
- Launch and manage online trading / e-commerce platform to sell products directly to clients in KSA and the GCC.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue streams from both services and online trading.
4. Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Responsible for P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
- Implement reporting systems for operations, trading revenue, and service performance.
- Ensure compliance with KSA regulations for trading and industrial services.
5. Strategic Growth & Compliance
- Transition from owner-managed operations to professional management.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, Saudi Standards, and industry regulations for repair and calibration services.
- Introduce digital sales channels, CRM systems, and marketing strategies for online trading growth.
Experience
- Total experience: 1012 years in KSA in calibration, repair, and industrial equipment trading.
