About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must already hold a valid Qatar license from the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) that is ready for immediate activation/transfer. Candidates with experience in onshore/offshore settings or occupational health will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and medical assessments
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Manage occupational health cases, including fitness-to-work assessments and workplace-related conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Respond to medical emergencies, especially in onshore/offshore environments (if applicable)
- Refer patients to specialists when required
- Ensure compliance with MOPH regulations and healthcare standards in Qatar
- Promote health education and preventive care to patients
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Valid MOPH license in Qatar (mandatory – ready for activation/transfer)
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a General Practitioner in Qatar
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in onshore/offshore medical services or remote site healthcare
- Background in Occupational Health Medicine
- Previous experience in Qatar or GCC healthcare sector
- Experience in onshore/offshore, oil & gas, or industrial healthcare settings
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
