About Aivita Wellness Clinic
Aivita Wellness Clinic is a modern preventive health and wellness clinic located in DIFC, Dubai. Our approach combines medical assessment, personalized health management and evidence-based wellness services within a safe, professional and patient-focused clinical environment.
We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused General Practitioner to provide medical consultations, clinical assessments and ongoing care while supporting the clinic's preventive health and wellness programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical consultations, physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Review medical histories, laboratory results, medications, allergies and relevant health risk factors.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions within the approved scope of practice.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
- Develop individualized treatment, prevention and follow-up plans.
- Assess patient suitability for IV therapies and other clinic treatments when clinically appropriate.
- Explain proposed treatments, expected benefits, limitations, alternatives and potential risks clearly to patients.
- Obtain and document appropriate informed consent.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations, clinical guidelines and the approved scope of practice.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and arrange appropriate follow-up care.
- Refer patients to specialists, hospitals or emergency services when required.
- Maintain complete, accurate and timely patient records in the clinic's EMR system.
- Work closely with the Medical Director, nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical governance, infection control, emergency preparedness and quality-improvement activities.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and the highest standards of professional conduct.
- Keep professional knowledge, licensing requirements and mandatory clinical training up to date.
Requirements
- MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent primary medical qualification from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an approved medical internship.
- Minimum 2 years of post-internship clinical experience.
- Valid DHA professional licence, active DHA professional registration or current DHA eligibility for the General Practitioner title.
- Relevant clinical experience in general practice, family medicine, internal medicine or primary care.
- Previous clinical experience in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.
- Experience or a strong interest in preventive medicine, wellness, IV therapy and personalized healthcare would be an advantage.
- Current Basic Life Support certification is preferred and must be maintained before commencing clinical duties.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification would be an advantage.
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation and patient communication skills.
- Comfortable using EMR systems and other clinical software.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Arabic or another additional language would be an advantage.
- Professional, ethical and committed to evidence-based patient care.
