Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a part-time skilled and compassionate Homecare Doctor to provide expert medical care to cancer patients in the community. You will play a pivotal role in delivering home-based assessments, managing treatment side effects, initiating urgent interventions, and supporting patients through complex stages of their cancer journey. This role requires clinical autonomy, sound oncologic judgement, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive home visits, medical reviews, and physical assessments
Diagnose, manage, and treat acute complications related to cancer and its therapies
Manage oncologic emergencies (e.g., febrile neutropenia)
Provide advanced symptom control for pain, nausea, dyspnoea, fatigue, and cachexia
Deliver holistic palliative care in collaboration with the wider team
Interpret diagnostic results (labs, imaging).
Coordinate care plans with oncologists, palliative care, pharmacy, and nursing staff
Provide clinical leadership and contribute to protocol development and safety audits
Maintain meticulous medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
Core Clinical Skills
Strong clinical decision-making in the community or low-resource settings
Acute management of immunotherapy- and chemotherapy-related toxicities
Advanced symptom management and palliative care provision
Familiarity with oncologic emergencies and escalation protocols
Ability to conduct safe and thorough remote or in-person assessments
Prescription of supportive medications
Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary or hospital-at-home setting
Excellent documentation and risk assessment practices
Essential Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
Expertise in managing cancer patients in community or acute settings.
Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and advancements in oncology.
Valid UAE driver's license and willingness to travel to home visits
