We're Hiring: General Sales Manager Automotive

Location: Abu Dhabi

Ali & Sons Motors is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead and drive sales performance for our automotive operations across multiple locations in Abu Dhabi. This senior leadership role is responsible for achieving sales targets, strengthening market position, and delivering a premium customer experience in line with Ali & Sons standards and manufacturer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Retail, Fleet, and Pre-Owned vehicle sales operations across all locations.
  • Drive achievement of unit sales, revenue, gross profit, and market share targets.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and annual business plans in coordination with senior management.
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure effective vehicle inventory management, including ordering, stock levels, and liquidation of aged stock.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer journey, achieving high customer satisfaction and mystery shopping scores.
  • Develop, coach, and evaluate Sales Managers and sales teams to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with dealer standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and manufacturer teams to execute sales campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, principals, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in automotive sales, with proven leadership at a managerial level.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive retail operations, fleet sales, and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in MS Office and dealer management systems.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
