Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled GIS Specialist with hands-on experience in Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, and BIM-GIS data workflows. The ideal candidate will manage geospatial data, coordinate BIM-GIS integration, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support infrastructure projects. Experience with Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the integration of ArcGIS with Autodesk Civil 3D and Infraworks using Autodesk Connectors.
- Facilitate IFC/GIS interoperability for smooth BIM-GIS data exchange between design and geospatial teams.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure GIS layers, including road networks, utilities, parcels, and terrain surfaces.
- Work with spatial data in relevant coordinate systems and map projections for Saudi Arabia, such as UTM Zone 37N and 38N.
- Utilize ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise for data creation, visualization, analysis, and publishing.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and GIS specialists to ensure accurate and consistent geospatial data integration in infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain workflows, templates, and tools for BIM-GIS interoperability and geospatial data management.
- Generate 3D GIS models and visualizations to support project planning and decision-making.
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and documentation for multidisciplinary project teams.
- Troubleshoot GIS-related issues and develop innovative solutions for complex infrastructure challenges.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Geo-Information Systems, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, GIS, or related field.
- 58 years of proven experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, and Autodesk Connectors.
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Knowledge of IFC standards and BIM-GIS data exchange workflows.
- Familiarity with infrastructure layers and geospatial data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of 3D GIS modeling and visualization techniques.
- Experience with Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of 3D GIS modeling and visualization techniques.
- Experience working on Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects is a plus.
