Strategic
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using initiative , discretion and judgement within established procedures, guidelines and rules.
- Defining problems, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
Operational
- Build and maintain GIS databases and use GIS software to analyze the spatial and non spatial information in them.
- Geographical information systems (GIS) combine social, economical and topographical data that is used for a variety of purposes including flood defense planning, healthcare, road traffic management and market research.
- Current principles, practices , terminology and trends in GIS usage and modern land based mapping application theory.
- Procedures, principles and practices for the installation, configuration, upgrading , operation and troubleshooting of GIS related hardware and peripherals including printers/plotters, GPS devices and other related devices. principles and practices of developing analytical maps , spreadsheets, graphs, charts and written reports.
- Providing efficient customer service and communicating clearly and objectively both verbally and in writing.
- Will be onsite at customer location and will produce digital mapping from variety of source materials to create final production deliverables following customer requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- PREFERRED : Bachelor degree in Statistics IT or Business Adminstration.Sound Knowledge in MS Office and familiar with various softwares.Data development, quality control, familiar with GDB design , geometric network ,image processing , GIS tools and extensions. ArcMap, ArcFM, ArcGIS pro and microstation.
- MINIMUM :
Knowledge & Skill
- Reading and understanding technical manuals.
- Building effective teams and providing efficient customer service.
- Basic programming language
Experience
- PREFERRED : Relevant Experience in UAE or Gulf preferred.
- MINIMUM : 1 to 3 years preferred in same previous job.
