Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
  • Produce budgeting and forecasting reports and monitor financial performance
  • Create ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making
  • Prepare tax documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Develop and document accounting policies and processes to strengthen internal controls
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audits, including cyclical audits
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control
  • Produce accurate, error-free financial reports and present insights to management

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience 2-4 years as a GL Accountant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
