Role Overview
The Global Finance and Tax Advisor will play a key role in overseeing international financial compliance, advising on accounting standards, tax obligations, and cross-border structuring with a focus on the UAE, European, and Asian regulatory landscapes. The ideal candidate brings strong financial insight, strategic advisory skills, and hands-on experience navigating multi-jurisdictional compliance — especially in real estate, construction, and leasing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate structuring requirements.
- Provide guidance on IFRS, local GAAP standards, and region-specific financial rules (EMEA & APAC).
- Collaborate with local and international advisors on regulatory compliance and licensing matters.
- Support financial operations in sectors such as real estate, construction, and leasing, offering insight into optimal financial structures and risk mitigation.
- Monitor evolving tax and regulatory requirements across the company's markets and coordinate implementation strategies.
- Advise on leasing structures, financial solutions, and capital deployment strategies relevant to regional markets.
- Coordinate with internal departments (finance, legal, operations) to ensure integrated compliance and reporting.
- Contribute to the design of internal controls, audit readiness, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Evaluate and improve financial workflows and policies across global offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CA, or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international finance and compliance, with specific exposure to UAE financial regulations.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, tax laws, and multi-country accounting practices.
- Experience advising in sectors such as real estate, construction, or leasing is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply cross-border financial regulations and manage compliance risk.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English is must, knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
