Global Head – Marketing & Tourism

About the Role:
A leading, world-class complex entity in Riyadh is seeking a commercially sound Global Head – Marketing & Tourism to join its executive leadership team. The organization is scaling its international patient program and global brand presence in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This role will lead the medical tourism function's strategy, operations, and financial performance, driving disciplined growth and a better patient experience across a fast-expanding platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and own the end-to-end medical tourism strategy, aligned with organizational goals
- Set and drive annual targets for patient volume, revenue, and market expansion
- Build and maintain partnerships with global healthcare providers
- Identify new markets and scalable growth opportunities
Branding & Marketing
- Oversee multilingual marketing materials and digital content
- Own branding strategy, positioning the organization as a leading global healthcare destination
Patient Experience & Operations
- Oversee the full international patient journey — inquiry through post-care follow-up
- Set and monitor service standards for satisfaction, responsiveness, and quality of care
- Lead resolution and crisis management for complex patient cases
Operational & Financial Leadership
- Own P&L performance, cost control, and revenue optimization for the function
- Build and lead the department team — recruitment, development, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to international healthcare quality and accreditation standards, and full regulatory compliance
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's in a healthcare-related discipline preferred)
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a large organization
- Proven track record building and scaling international patient/medical tourism programs
- Strong commercial, financial, and brand-strategy background
- Demonstrated leadership across cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Ability to drive change and innovation at an enterprise level
