About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Head of Platforms to lead our platform management strategy and activities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing relationships with major social media platforms, including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat. Your leadership will be key in managing the execution of cross-platform initiatives, optimizing creator integrations, and driving sustainable partnerships that deliver value to both creators and platforms.

As the Global Head of Platforms, you will be expected to develop and implement the platform strategy, negotiate favorable partnerships, and ensure the delivery of successful programs and campaigns that foster growth in the creator economy. This position requires a visionary leader with strong negotiation skills, extensive industry experience, and a deep understanding of the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Platform Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global strategy for managing relationships with social media platforms
  • Lead strategic discussions and negotiations with Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and other key partners
  • Analyze platform trends and leverage insights to guide organizational direction and strategies

Partnership Development & Management

  • Establish long-term partnerships that drive value for both creators and platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate platform needs into broader business operations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with programming, marketing, operations, and creator management teams to ensure successful execution of platform initiatives
  • Lead and coordinate multi-departmental projects that involve platform partners
  • Ensure alignment across departments to deliver a unified message and approach

Reporting & Oversight

  • Oversee reporting metrics for platform partnerships and initiative success
  • Prepare and present quarterly progress reports to the leadership team
  • Make data-driven decisions to refine strategies and operational plans

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, business development, or senior roles within digital media or creator economy preferred
  • Extensive experience working with major social media platforms and strong understanding of their ecosystems
  • Proven record of strategic leadership and successful partnership development
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent in English; proficient in Arabic is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
