JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Manager - Performance Management CL is responsible for leading and coordinating the global performance management framework across all Contract Logistics regions.
The role ensures structured KPI governance, disciplined Management Business Review (MBR) processes, and transparent oversight of financial risk areas, including the Low-Margin Contracts Program and scope creep identification.
In addition, the role governs and maintains the Contract Logistics Master Site and structural data framework, ensuring alignment between operational sites, financial entities, system mappings, and reporting structures. By supporting a single source of truth for performance foundations, the role contributes to KPI integrity, margin visibility, and global reporting consistency.
Operating at a global governance level, the role provides transparency, comparability, and structured follow-up across regions, while regional teams retain accountability for performance delivery and execution. The position supports leadership decision-making through consolidated insights, structured risk visibility, and performance analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Global KPI Governance & Performance Tracking
- Lead and coordinate the global KPI governance framework across all Contract Logistics regions
- Ensure standardized KPI definitions, methodologies, targets, and documentation
- Monitor KPI trends and highlight systemic operational and financial risks
- Consolidate global performance reporting for leadership forums
- Ensure consistency in KPI interpretation across regions Identify recurring performance gaps and support definition of improvement areas
- Low-Margin Contracts Program – Global Coordination
- Coordinate the global Low-Margin Contracts Performance Program
- Support the definition and alignment of entry and exit criteria in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams
- Consolidate reporting on underperforming contracts and monitor recovery progress
- Highlight sustained performance deviations and escalate structural risks
- Provide visibility on margin recovery status to senior leadership
- Scope Creep Identification & Margin Visibility
- Establish and maintain a global framework to identify and track scope creep
- Support structured comparison between contractual scope and operational execution
- Provide visibility on unbilled or non-contracted activities impacting profitability
- Support quantification of scope variances with regional, commercial, and finance teams
- Ensure findings are incorporated into performance and margin review discussions
- Management Business Review (MBR) Governance
- Coordinate and ensure consistency of global and regional MBR structures and content
- Ensure KPI data is aligned, validated, and reconciled ahead of reviews
- Support preparation of MBR materials and performance analysis
- Ensure comparability and decision-focused outputs across regions
- Track key actions and ensure structured follow-up and escalation where required
- Provide consolidated performance insights and risk summaries
- Master Data & Site Governance (Single Source of Truth)
- Lead and maintain the Contract Logistics Master Site governance framework
- Maintain a global master file of operational sites, including status and structural mapping
- Ensure alignment between operational sites and:
- Financial profit centres
- Legal / GHSC entities
- CRM structures
- Reporting tools and data sources
- Ensure consistency between systems and performance reporting structures
- Govern change control processes for site creation, closure, and structural updates
- Ensure alignment of new tools and reporting platforms with the master site framework
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
Professional Experience
- 10+ years experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Performance, or Financial Performance roles.
- Demonstrated experience in KPI governance, performance frameworks, or margin improvement programs.
- Strong exposure to contract profitability, cost-to-serve analysis, and financial performance tracking.
- Experience operating in multinational, multi-regional organizations.
- Experience supporting executive-level performance review forums (MBR/QBR).
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with understanding of warehousing economics.
- Deep understanding of operational KPIs and margin drivers in contract logistics.
- Experience with master data governance, structural mapping, or performance data alignment.
- Ability to reconcile operational data with financial reporting structures.
- Strong analytical capability and structured problem-solving skills.
