Glue Machine Operator

Employment: Full Time

• Set up and operate gluer machines (e.g., Bobst, Jagenberg, Moll) according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Monitor the gluing process to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Perform quality checks on finished products, verifying alignment, adhesion, and structural integrity.
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to machinery during runs to maintain efficiency and prevent defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the gluer machine.
• Record production data such as quantities, downtime, and waste.
• Work closely with other machine operators, quality control, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating gluer or folder-gluer machines in a packaging or print environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read job tickets, blueprints, and perform basic math.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] as required.
