Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Riyadh, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and solutions to meet organisational needs. Responsibilities include managing cloud-based services, optimising cloud performance, ensuring system security, provisioning resources, and supporting cloud-native application deployment. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications

• Skills in building, designing, and deploying GCP-based workloads
• Expertise in GCP Infrastructure and GKE Computing, including provisioning and managing scalable GCP cloud environments
• Extensive experience in Datacentre to GCP migration or Other public cloud to GCP migration using frameworks like 6R's
• Multi-year client-facing experience to guide/help/onboard clients on use of GCP services.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and management
• Knowledge of Databases and their integration within cloud platforms
• Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud service providers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional certifications in cloud computing or Google Cloud technologies are an advantage
• Efficient communicator with depth of perception and strategic thinking.
