Role Overview:
Our client, a Riyadh-based consulting firm, is seeking a Governance / Legal Specialist to support committee regulation standardization and Board Secretariat governance design.
The selected candidate will play a key role in reviewing, standardizing, and strengthening governance practices across multiple committees while contributing to the development of governance manuals, operating models, and policy management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Committees
- Standardize regulations across multiple committees by reviewing existing regulations, identifying conflicts, and aligning them into a consistent framework.
- Support improvements to regulatory processes, including transitioning archiving from a manual scan-based process to a more structured convening mechanism.
- Develop a policy governance framework covering how policies are created, approved, and managed.
Secretariat
- Contribute to the Governance Manual by defining the Secretariat's relationship with the committees and clarifying respective responsibilities.
- Support the development of an operating model for the Board Secretariat.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in governance, policy drafting, or related legal and regulatory work.
- Fluent in Arabic, with the ability to speak, write, and draft governance and policy documents in Arabic.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently to review and standardize regulatory documents.
- Immediately available or able to start within one week for a 2-month engagement.
