Role Description

We are seeking a professional and highly organized Government Officer to support government-related affairs, regulatory coordination, public administration, and stakeholder engagement activities. The role will assist in maintaining effective communication with relevant authorities, monitoring regulatory developments, and ensuring that government-related matters are handled accurately, professionally, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

The Government Officer will coordinate official correspondence, prepare reports, briefing materials, applications, submissions, and other relevant documentation. The role will monitor government policies, regulatory requirements, and public-sector developments, assess their potential impact on organizational activities, and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with government departments and external stakeholders, organizing meetings and official engagements, tracking regulatory and administrative matters, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the implementation of government-related initiatives. The role will also conduct research, gather information from relevant sources, prepare summaries and reports, and assist with compliance, licensing, permits, or regulatory submissions where required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information. The role will contribute to maintaining constructive stakeholder relationships and ensuring government-related activities are managed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Public Administration, Political Science, Government Studies, Law, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of government procedures, public administration, regulatory requirements, and institutional processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional official correspondence and reports.
  • Strong research, analytical, and information-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with government agencies and external organizations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Strong follow-up and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, responsible, proactive, and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support organizational objectives in a structured and compliant manner.
